Astute are partnered with a long established, independent, family-owned business who offer services from Demolition to Plant Hire and Agricultural Contracting. Our client is looking for an established Contracts Manager to join their Agricultural team.
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Earthworks Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for:
Attending site visits with clients (pre-start, during project and at final site sign off)
Prepare documents including RAMs, Phase Plan. Contribute to PQQs when required.
Assign, coordinate and supervise daily work activities for the Earthworks team (under instruction and guidance from the Earthworks and/or Agricultural Manager) and assume responsibility for completion. Raise any staff issues for resolution.
Work with clients to ensure our services meet all expectations and report exceptions to management and customers.
Ensure workloads are completed in the planned timescales and within set and agreed standard to ensure efficiency.
Any other duties as directed by the management team.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Knowledge and experience of relevant machinery and site health and safety policies.
Excellent project management /time management/multi-tasking skills. The ability to reason logically within tight and conflicting timeframes.
Confident and effective people management skills. Working effectively in teams and co-operatively with others to achieve shared goals and optimise the contributions.
Excellent negotiation skills
Experience in Earthworks and large projects
Salary & Package
