Brief Outline
A leading RC Frame, Groundworks, Basements Construction and Demolition contractor are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on high value projects about to land.
This surveyor needs to be experienced working for sub-contractors and be able to commercially manage high value projects with minimal downwards input

The client is an established company, operating in the market for 25+ yrs, they carry an excellent reputation which has allowed them to continue to secure enviable projects even in the current climate.
They have several large projects on the horizon and are going through an expansion strategy to recruit key personnel
About the Role
Resolving commercial issue and contractual disputes
Bill of quantities
Financially managing scheme from inception to completion
Knowledge of take offs
Risk management and cost control
Report accurately to the Commercial Manager
Liaise with client directly on and off siteAbout the Candidate
At least 8yrs+ of quantity surveying experience
Excellent knowledge of Rc Frame, Groundworks, Demolition and Basement construction
Degree educated (or equivalent) within quantity surveying
Has experience of financially managing large projects
Excellent communication skills
Able to self-motivate and work independentlyPoints of Appeal
Market leading and growing contractor
View to a more senior management role in the commercial team in the future
