An industry leading company in the construction market requires a Bid Manager to deal with tendering of flagship projects across the UK
The Bid Manager will be responsible for assisting the Business Development manager, and Senior Estimator and Commercial team, while overseeing the specific bid and tender writing processes that are assigned.
The client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in their projects and the company’s progress.

About the Role
We are looking for Bid Manager with experience preferably in the construction or civil engineering industry, as well as related. This role has the potential to progress to a more senior position in the company’s commercial team in the future.
Assisting preparation of tender submissions and contract documents for financial and commercial presentation
Researching Best Practice, latest guidance, standards and current legislation relevant to specific tender responses.
Referencing relevant company policies and processes to support successful tender responses, or contract awards.
Highlighting any required updates of how company policy based on contract expectation.
Seeking feedback, involvement and engagement of relevant team members to tailor our response.
Editing response documentation in keeping with Tender requirements.
Any other tasks the Team Manager sees fit within keeping of the business.
About the Candidate
Previous bid and tender experience in the demolition market
Excellent analytical skills are essential, as are numeracy, literacy and communication skills in English
Computer literacy in MS Office
