Vacancy: Project Manager
Location: Bournemouth
Randstad are working with a medium sized regional contractor with a local office in Dorset, in the last few days they have secured a new project on the outskirts of poole. This contractor will deliver a £3 million office refurbishment into brand new apartments consisting of 1,2,3 bedrooms apartments.
This business is looking to interview candidates in the next couple of weeks with a start date based around august / september.
Position:
As project manager you will be responsible for all aspects of a single project valued circa £3Million, this role will include involvement from early site set up from demolition, selecting subcontractors, assisting with design. You will be fully involved with all external stakeholders meetings along with managing full site teams which will consist of junior managers. You will also be reporting directly to a visiting construction director.
The ideal candidate would be based around Bournemouth, ideally you would have experience managing both new build and refurbishments schemes valued between £2 million to £6 million. You will have worked for a tier one or medium sized contractor, have either worked in commercial, health care, industrial and accommodation for future works.
Duties include:
Progress reporting on projects performance
Managing site teams including managers & subcontractors
Providing a clear direction for the onsite construction team inline with company and site targets
Promoting company procedures - Health & Safety
Assisting with design amendments
Client / subcontractor meetings Salary & Package:
£60,000 - £70,000
