Reporting to the Head of Temporary Works, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Works Design Engineer who will be instrumental in the strategic growth of an ambitious design team based in north London.   About the company The company are an established contractor who are leading the way with their high standards and client satisfaction across various infrastructure sectors which includes structures, transport and civil engineering. Role & Responsibilities The position requires an analytically minded person from a technical background, who is keen to progress in their career, growing technically and professionally together with the company.   You will be involved with both the design and development of structural schemes for Temporary Works for both structural and geotechnical design. This involves the analysis of structures using advanced techniques and software, including FEM analysis for assessment and production of drawings and schemes.   Requirements BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering Working towards chartership with ICE / IStructE Min 1 - 2 years' experience Strong analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication Experience in the design of temporary works that includes some the following: ·Foundations ·Crane bases ·Retaining structures ·Slope stabilisation ·Façade retention ·Demolition Works To be considered for this position, please apply as soon as possible.
