Defects Coordinator - WHG1449
Location: Telford - HQ Offices
Salary: Scale 6 - £27,478.00 - £29,314 Per Annum, Plus ECU Allowance
Hours: 36 Hours per Week- Permanent
The Wrekin Housing Group's partnership between The Wrekin Housing Group and Choices Housing Association enables a focus on meeting and exceeding the needs and expectations of our wide range of customers.
We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills to co-ordinate the defects processes for new build properties. You will be responsible for co-ordinating how we manage defects, ensuring their effective quality control, monitoring their assessment & co-ordinating their effective rectification during the post construction phase. Your key responsibilities will include investigating and resolving customer complaints relating to defects and warranty issues and ensuring all defects are rectified to a high standard whilst providing regular monitoring and analysis to the Area Investment Manager & wider Development team.. You will also oversee and co-ordinate the preparation of the Group's owned sites for demolition.
You will bring your wide ranging skills, knowledge and experience to strive towards the delivery of excellent tenant and customer service.

What You Will Need:
The successful candidate will be able to articulate opinions and information confidently and clearly and will have strong co-ordination and organisational skills.
It is essential for the successful applicant to hold a minimum of three GCSE's or equivalent (Grade A to C) including Math and English and a current driving license. The successful candidate must also have an excellent level of information technology skills and can competently use Microsoft Office products to analyse and manipulate data.
It is essential for the successful candidate to be able to provide evidence of dealing efficiently with demanding customers and an ability to negotiate successful outcomes.
