22390 Site Manager - Basement / Shell & Core Contractor £55,000 - £60,000 London Start 25th Jan 2021 A leading contractor in shell & core and subterranean superstructure works in London is looking to appoint a Site Manager for their successful London business. Established 20 years ago, with a turnover approaching £30m and a strong workflow for the next 2 years, the project manager will be responsible for basement projects ranging in value from £1m - £5m for a mixture of high-end residential schemes. Suitable applicants should have at least 5 years' experience with managing basement projects, and be able to demonstrate a keen understanding and knowledge in the following areas: • Site Investigation & Preparation • Demolition | • Most forms of Piling • Groundwater Control • Façade Retention | • RC Concrete Form Works • Excavation and Disposal of Excavated Material The main responsibilities for the Site Manager will be: • Supervising of subcontractors on site; • Attending client meetings and maintaining regular communication; • General administration and organisation. • Quality Control • Risk assessments and method statements • Solving technical issues on site • Enforcing health and safety policies On offer will be an attractive salary and package, and the opportunity to work on very interesting and complex basement projects in London.
