Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
Location: Leicester, East Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £36k + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Asbestos Surveyors or Asbestos Analysts through to Dual Skilled Asbestos Consultant.
We are work closely with a multi-discipline Environmental Consultancy who now looking to employ an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to carry out the full range of Asbestos services throughout the Midlands area. Successful candidate will be covering Public and Private sector sites, undertaking asbestos air monitoring and surveying duties. Our client can offer excellent training packages, due to this they would be happy to look at candidates that hold either the P402 or P403, P404 qualifications and are wanting to gain further P certs.
Traveling regionally across the Midlands, the successful candidate will be in commutable distance of the following areas: Market Harborough, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Coventry, Solihull, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Walsall, Dudley, Kidderminster, Stafford, Telford, Shrewsbury, Burton-upon-Trent.
Experience & Qualifications:
" As a minimal would hold either the BOHS P402 or P403, P404 (or RSPH equivalent).
" Ideally would hold the P402/3/4.
" Experience working within the asbestos industry is essential to the role, working as either an Asbestos Surveyor or Asbestos Analyst.
" Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of HSG Legislation in relation to asbestos.
" Confident in using TEAMS / TRACKER system.
" Will have good customer facing skills.
The Role:
" Covering Public and Private sector contracts, undertaking management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" 4 Stage clearance.
" Personal air monitoring and visual re-inspections.
" Producing re-occupation certificates to clients upon completion of work.
" Carrying out leak, background, and smoke testing.
" Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant HSG legislations.
" Gathering information from site to produce detailed reports using TEAMS / TRACKER system.
