JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician – Multiskilled
SALARY: £38,000
Hours Mon – Thurs 08.00 – 17.00, Fri 08.00 – 15.45
LOCATION: Manchester, and surrounding areas

Previous Industries: Heavy Industry, Plastic extrusion, Quarry, Construction, Plant Hire, Asphalt, Building Products, Brick Production, Recycling, Industrial Services, Demolition, Roller Door, Industrial Door, Aggregates, Mining, Landfill, Production, Manufacturing, Muckaway, MRF, Waste Management, or any industry involving large static or mobile plant equipment
ROLE - Maintenance Technician – Multiskilled
• You will undertake Electrical & Mechanical repairs to plant equipment
• You will work within planned maintenance schedules
• You will strive to optimise performance, utilisation and availability.
• You will adhere to compliance of company policy.
EXPERIENCE – Maintenance Technician – Multiskilled
You will have undertaken mechanical and electrical work on large Production / Plant equipment
Successful candidate ideally will have completed a recognised Mechanical or Electrical Engineering / Mechanical / general Engineering apprenticeship, or hold an appropriate qualification (City and Guilds, NVQ, ONC, HNC, HND or Degree), or in a relevant discipline.
You will be multiskilled but can be electrically or mechanically biased
Health and safety qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH beneficial.
