SOCOTEC, Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, Site-based out of the Romford office
To support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join our Asbestos team. SOCOTEC is a leading provider of asbestos management and consultancy services across a wide range of business sectors and property types. We take a client-focussed approach to ensure our recommendations meet your specific business needs, while ensuring compliance with the latest legislation and guidance. SOCOTEC’s highly experienced team of asbestos consultants are fully accredited to carry out asbestos management, refurbishment or demolition surveys to UKAS No. 0148 standards. Our extensive network of regional offices and laboratories, allows both national and local clients, to benefit from our services. SOCOTEC also delivers UKATA approved asbestos awareness courses, as well as bespoke professional training, which can be delivered from your premises.
We’re looking for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join our team, working on key projects across London and the South East for a range of clients, including:
* Consultancy works on Ministry of Defence sites;
* Blue chip retail clients;
* Rail sector works, including stations and traincare depots; and
* Residential and Council / Government portfolios

* Hold the BOHS P402, P403, P404 / RSPH Qualifications or BOHS Certificate of Competence in Asbestos
* Motivating to succeed and complete works to a high standard
* Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with clients, face to face on a daily basis;
* Computer literacy skills, particularly an understanding of mobile devices and applications; and
* An understanding of Health and Safety requirements and the need to work safely at all times.
