Seeking a skilled and experienced CCDO Burner to join our dynamic team in Port Talbot, Wales. This is a long-term role ideal for someone who excels in a demolition environment and is proficient in burning.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Safely perform cutting and burning tasks on a demolition site using oxy-fuel equipment.
* Understand and follow detailed demolition plans and instructions.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on the demolition site.
* Collaborate with the demolition team to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
* Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe and optimal operation.
* Manage and dispose of waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Valid CCDO (Certified Demolition Operative) card.
* CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
* Professional certification in Oxycutting.
* Proven experience as a Burner on demolition sites.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the demolition industry.
* Physically fit and able to work in demanding conditions.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
