Job Description

Role: Asbestos surveyor Location: Surveyors needed in Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Liverpool and Birmingham Salary: (phone number removed) dependent on experience Additional Benefits: Van, 33 days annual leave, Paid travel Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed Employment Type: Permanent Responsibilities: Conduct various asbestos surveys and inspections, including management, refurbishment, demolition surveys, and assessments of asbestos in the ground. Collect accurate site data for the generation of high-quality reports Ensure compliance with asbestos-related regulations such as HSE and construction. Work within a UKAS accredited organisation and demonstrate familiarity with documents like Lab 30 and RG8. Maintain personal QHSE documentation and adhere to internal assurance processes. Provide professional and courteous service to clients, addressing inquiries and offering specialist advice when needed. Communicate effectively with clients, management, the Technical Support team, and fellow team members. Ideal Candidate Traits: Possession of BOHS P402, equivalent RSPH qualification, or Certificate of Competence. Full UK driving license (manual). Flexibility in terms of travel and willingness to work out of regular hours. Strong work ethic, capable of working independently or as part of a small team.
