Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading power company to recruit a Site Development Manager on a 1-year contract. The Site Development Manager role comes with a rate of circa. £40p/hour in a hybrid work, with bi-weekly site visits required. Responsibilities and duties As Site Development Manager you will be responsible for: · Leading the development and implementation of a 'site vision', defining transformation when combining exciting assets with new opportunities. · Shade an agenda for specific locations and coordinate all site relevant initial development activities by considering innovative business and operating models. · Drive infrastructure projects, enhancing the site and allowing growth projects to thrive by using synergies and benefits of integrate site ingredients. · Prepare high quality decision proposals and present them to relevant management functions. · Lead or actively participate in project committees and take ownership for governance of site development settings. · Liaising with the site integration managers from energy assets as well as demolition and rehabilitation managers. · Manage the stakeholder relations in alignment with the clients communication department. Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: · Degree in a relevant subject (engineering, business administration etc) · Minimum of 5 years of in-depth experience in developing and managing large projects, preferably within the power industry. · Certified Project Management skills · Experience leading international teams and complex multi-company business development activities · Strong understanding of the technical and commercial requirements of development activities Personal skills The Site Development Manager role would suit someone who is: · Excellent conceptual and strategic thinking · Strong personal credibility to successful board presentations, excellent team-working skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
