Bid Coordinator Demolition and civil engineering Essex £30,000 - £45,000 – Negotiable (specific salary will depend on previous experience and suitability) About the Company: Our privately owned client who is based in Essex is a leading name within the demolition and civil engineering industry with a group annual turnover in excess of £45M, with exciting plans in place for growth. Their services include asbestos removal, temporary works, demolition, remediation, earthworks and groundwork’s and current package values range in value from £500K to £10M. This client has an excellent staff retention level which has been gained by constantly focusing on improving standards. About the opportunity: I am currently recruiting for a well experienced and meticulously organised Bid Coordinator for a highly respected, multi-award winning demolition contractor based in Essex. This new requirement has come to light due to a huge number of incoming tender enquires which is stretching the current pre-construction / bid team to its absolute limit. This Bid Coordinator opportunity offers a doorway into a world class pre-construction / bid team. This opportunity is one that will fit only the most organised of characters. You will slot into the existing team, reporting into the Director and your mission is to coordinate, organise and manage all areas of the bids as they come and go. If you’re not coordinating client facing tender submissions and responding to PQQs, you’ll be supporting in a business development function with specific research projects while reviewing previous tenders for feedback in order to refine answers to improve quality submissions. This team is well established and experienced, but small in essence. Each individual mucks in and offers their support in every detail and the successful professional for this opportunity must come armed with the same can-do, team mentality. About the benefits / rewards: For this opportunity, the salary has been left negotiable as the specifics will depend on the previous experience and suitability however you can expect to target a basic salary ranging for £30,000 - £45,000. About the requirements: In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must have a proven track record of working as a bid coordinator within the construction industry for a minimum for 3 years. You should hold excellent time management skills, be a confident communicator and be IT literate in Microsoft and Adobe packages (InDesign being essential).
