Substation Standby Person The Client My client has been at the forefront of safe dismantling and demolition in the electrical supply industry for almost 50 years. They specialise in High voltage dismantling and demolition and all associated works including not limited to transformer disposal, transformer oil disposal, high voltage equipment disposal, cable de-oiling, cable services, asbestos, PCB and SF6 gas recovery, disposal and decontamination and environmental clean-up. The Role Our client has a requirement for a substation SB 1 (Standby) person for a project in Glenlee (Scotland) on a Scottish Power substation project. The project involves the decommissioning & recovery of a cable fed circuit. The position is due to start on Monday 29th March 2021 and will run for 2 weeks through the Easter bank holiday weekend. Requirements - Scottish Power authorisations and experience are absolute pre-requisites for this role, the successful person must hold EN-1, SB-1, SR-3 and have relevant experience on Scottish Power projects.
