Talented Site Manager required We have been instructed to source a Site Manager, for our client, a main contractor involved in the Lidl store rollout across the UK. The initial project is in Luton, valued at £2.5m and will involve demolition, build and fit out. , The site manager will report to both the contractor's visiting Director and report in to Lidl's own project manager. Key responsibilities for the successful Site Manager will involve The Site Manager will make Health, Safety and the Environment their first priority in all decisions and actions. The Site Manager will plan, manage and deliver all construction activities in an efficient and cost effective manner Demonstrate a positive ‘can do’ attitude at all times whilst understanding the impact of decisions on all aspects of the project / contract. The Site Manager will be expected to report openly and honestly at all times, acknowledging problems, analysing and providing seeking solutions. Be a positive team builder, care for their staff and actively engage in staff feedback and development. The successful Site Manager must have recently worked for a UK based main contractor on a permanent basis. Experience of involvement on new build / D&B supermarket projects would be ideally, with valid CSCS, SMSTS and 1st Aid certificates. In return, the successful Site Manager can expect to earn a generous basic salary along with a handsome package including car / allow, travel, subsistence, healthcare, pension and holidays.
