A North Wales based company providing over 6000 quality homes to over 14,000 local customers are seeking a Land Management Officer to assist in the management of the Land & Estates section within their busy Assets Team.
As a Land Management Officer, you will be responsible for:
Health, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE) policy and procedures for your work base
Assisting with the Land Management Strategy
Land Registry, Boundary Disputes, Easements & Rights of Way
Allotments, grazing, ground rent/leases
Land Sales, TPO enquiries and Planning/Demolition applications
Tendering and Managing Schemes
Utilities information, issues, and requests in regard to adopted drainage, water mains, electric supplies, gas supplies and telecommunication.
Providing technical advice to the team
Maintaining and implementing IT systems in relation to land management
Land registry issues
The ideal Land Management Officer will have the following skills and experience:
ONC/OND or HND/HNC level in building related subject
Proven experience in surveying, preparation of accurate reports and working within the social housing sector or similar
Proven experience in working on land and estate management.
Proven experience working with various service providers / contractors.
Have good technical knowledge of land and estate management issues such as changes in legislation, planning and best practices.
Have extensive understanding and working knowledge of IT systems.
Have excellent time management, high levels of customer service satisfaction and excellent communication skills.
Able to communicate both written and verbal in Welsh fluently
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the nature of the role.
This is a temporary, full time role based in Bangor, North Wales for approximately 3 months, with a pay rate of £14.00 plus holiday pay.
