Project Quantity Surveyor - Manchester - £40,000 - £45,000 - Regional Sub-Contractor Due to further growth, a position is now available for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join an established Regional Sub-Contractor who has been operating in the North West for over 20 years. Working within sectors including construction, civils and demolition this is an opportunity to join an established business with achievable progression to Senior Quantity Surveyor. The types of projects you could be involved with can include student accommodation, housing, education, retail and industrial as well as other sectors. The Opportunity As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining a recognised North West contractor who are known for their staff retention and development with the potential to make a strong impact on the project undertaken from outset. This role would be ideal for a driven individual who is looking to make an instant impression and take the next step up on their career progression. The Role and Responsibilities On this project, you will be site based looking after the subcontract package that includes drainage, foundations, services, diversions, landscaping etc. under the NEC Form of Contract. Located in the West Yorkshire area, you will be reporting to a visiting Senior Surveyor / Commercial Manager with support given as and when needed and will be working on a housing and extra care facility set in a growing area that is continuing to be further developed. Duties will include looking after the administration of the contract, highlighting any early warnings, monthly valuations, CVR's and reconcilliations. This role would be ideal for a Project Quantity Surveyor who has managed a number of previous projects up to circa £8m and is proficient with the minimum of input from either a Senior Surveyor or Commercial Manager although the support is there, should it be needed. Skills and Experience HNC / HND qualified Experience of managing projects up to circa £8m. Good sound knowledge and experience of NEC Form of Contract Proven ability of working in a similar role previously.
