Mechanical Engineers Need in the York Area / Inside IR35 / 18 months contracts plus
Engineer must have:
Degree qualified or HNC, HND
10 years min experience as an Engineer,
Background Experience in Power, Petro, chem chemical, Heavy industry, Large multi-disciplined Projects above £5M. Decommissioning or Demolition experience including replanting, diverting as well as removal of process systems.
Contract management IOSH, NEBOSH
Knowledgeable of Industry standards and regulations compliance
CDM, Cross discipline working including civils
Project execution life cycle, Cost time quality drivers, Optioneering solutions, including programmes, Gannt, Microsoft projects or similar
Database population useful not essential,
Procurement systems, processing contract services orders,
Hands on - In field capabilities not desk top Engineering,
QA, punch list, snagging, Commissioning large plant systems,
Mon Fri - 37hr - flexible
Advice and guidance on standards including Surveys, Disconnections and Handover support to Decommissioning Mechanical dedicated team. Process knowledge including plant and Pipework routes, Alternative supply points strategy including Optioneering, Engineering process Plant systems, Liaising with other Engineering and Maint. Teams to ensure alignment to Decommissioning works. Assist with the SRCC and SREC process (Safety from the system Permitry knowledge)
Manage contractor works including Specification, Quotation and order processing, supervision of Install, testing and commissioning.
Individual projects: -
Manage diversion and replanting projects identified during 2021 survey works.
Assist Survey process to identify decommissioning requirements.
Diversions of associated systems.
C&I compressed air systems compressor relocation Mech design, Install QA, Commission.
Environmental Instrument services Engineer alternative supplies.
Process water non FGD feeds decouple from FGD process plant.
Drainage systems Engineer solutions post WWTP shutdown.
