About the opportunity:
Due to company expansion, my client is currently recruiting permanently for an Asbestos Operations Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the business operations and be a key figure in developing the company’s long-term strategy.
As an Operations Manager, you will report directly to the Business and Commercial Manager and oversee / support the asbestos team and site staff. Key duties will include but not be limited to the below:
* Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with legislation and company requirements.
* Carry out audits and inspections of work.
* Enable the smooth running of the business.
* Attend meetings when required and dealing with any issues that may arise.
* Build and maintain a professional relationship with the company's portfolio of clients.
* Ensure all contracts are completed to clients specification.
* Involvement in Quality Control, Method Statements and Risk Assessments as required.
About the requirements:
In order to be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must hold a minimum of 5 years’ experience in operating to the standards required for maintaining the HSE license. You will have experience in pricing, planning and executing licensed asbestos works, hold exemplary health and safety knowledge and be familiar with the HSE license regime.
About the benefits and rewards:
For this opportunity, my client is targeting professionals who are looking to earn anywhere between £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability. Additionally, there will be a generous package offered in addition to other benefits associated with a large successful company.
