Health & Safety Training manager – Hertfordshire - £60k plus About the company: This company is a highly regarded and respected privatised specialist sub contractor within Groundworks & RC Frames that have been established for over 30years, that have now added various sub divisions to the business and are busier and larger than ever. They have established themselves as one of the strongest sub contractors in the South East able to deliver the all in one package for their clients, using all their own plant, and having the knowledge and experience to deliver all the demolition, groundworks and frame effectively. Current turnover is £150m. Your Role We are looking to appoint a credible and experienced Head of Health & Safety to drive the way the business supports its employees, with demonstrable ability to build positive, trusted relationships with the Executive Management Team, the Board, all managers and colleagues across the group. You will, at minimum, have the NEBOSH qualification at Level 6 or equivalent qualifications. You will have demonstrable experience in a similar senior role, delivering the safety services strategy and leading health and safety services in a well-established organisation. You will be an excellent communicator having strong interpersonal skill as your role will involve working collaboratively with all teams and Departments across the group. Reporting to the Director of Safetye – who is passionate about individual personal development as well as providing outstanding to organisation goals – your work will involve ensuring a proactive Health & Safety culture is embedded across the business. This will involve establishing an effective compliance and performance framework where risks are identified and enabling a solutions-oriented focus. You will have the foresight to proactively understand, manage, report and address risks. You will ensure appropriate health, safety and well-being training requirements are identified, the training cascaded and delivered, whilst you are facilitating legal / regulatory compliance and a safe working environment across the group
