Our client, who are a mixed use residential developer, are looking for a Commercial Director for their brand new development in the Surrey region. The project consists of a traditional build development with over 450 apartments over 9 blocks. The Project is very much in its infancy with the start on site date not to be for another year and a half.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with the pre-development stages of a project, covering full procurement of all packages including the demolition, remediation works and land acquisition. Being at such an early stage of development the successful candidate will be able to build a commercial team beneath them ready for when the project has started on site.
The role will include, ensuring appropriate systems are in place to manage the quality and financial aspects of all projects, delivering appropriate concise reports to board meetings on a diarised basis, leading the strategic development and management of the commercial team, taking a financial overview of all contracts for profitability and viability, liaison with architects and consultants and stakeholders to provide continuous value engineering of design concepts and proposals.
Selected candidates must have a proven track record with a main contractor or residential developer, working on traditional build developments. This is first class opportunity to progress with a tier 1 developer, our client have a strong pipeline of future schemes.
