About the company:
Our privately owned client who has regional offices throughout the UK, is a multifaceted civil engineering contractor who holds over 25 years proven experience in demolition, asbestos removal and general infrastructure. Within the asbestos removal division, this contractor works on a range of projects, varying in complexity, to include minor works of residential properties through to large scale nuclear schemes.

About the opportunity:
Due to successful expansion, my client is currently recruiting permanently for an experienced Asbestos Contracts Manager to enhance their existing asbestos removal division in the South East. This opportunity will involve assisting the existing management team in the day to day operations, to an in house and external client base.
As an Asbestos Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing overall asbestos project work throughout the South East, ensuring works are priced and carried out in accordance with legislative aspects of the business including health, safety and environmental issues. You will successfully complete documentation including risk assessments, method statements, tenders, appraisals and ASB5 notifications and close out reports and will development current / future client relationships.
About the requirements:
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must have a proven track record of working at this senior level within the asbestos industry, understanding all legislation (please note, due to this being a niche sector, only professionals with experience in asbestos can be considered). Additionally, you must hold a full UK driving license and as this in a permanent opportunity, my client is looking for a professional who can demonstrate stability of employment throughout their career, holding each previous post for a minimum of 2 years.
About the benefits and rewards:
For this permanent opportunity, the salary has been left negotiable as it will be defined upon experience and suitability however professionals can expect to target a salary between £45,000 – £50,000. Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered in addition to standard benefits associated with a large successful company (pension, health care, laptop, phone etc.).
