Not to be missed opportunity for an experienced Design Manager to join one of the UK's leading construction companies.   About the company   This opportunity will you give you the change to be part of one of the UK leading construction businesses with a multimillion group turnover. Working together, you will assist in delivering all kinds of innovative projects nationally. These range from major Building and Civil Engineering works to bespoke Fit-out and Asset Management contracts. Role & Responsibilities   ·To Manage schemes up to £20m in value from concept to completion within the commercial buildings sector ·Manage both the D&B process ·Build strong relationships with developers, designers, consultants and contractors ·Demonstrate good financial and commercial acumen, including associated risk management skills ·Manage the design process in accordance with RIBA stages of work ·Manage risks and design change ·Understanding of the Planning Process ·Understanding of the statutory consents, building regulations, party wall and ensure that these are implemented Requirements · BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering ·Commercial project experience ·Proven experience with Consultant Appointments ·early Stages of Design and inner-city construction ·Both commercial projects so experience of this sector is important ·Experience with TFL, party wall matters, basement construction, demolition etc very important. ·D&B experience ·Experience of pre-construction and delivery In addition to a competitive salary there will be car or car allowance, pension scheme, medical cover, lifestyle benefits and bonus scheme.
