The CCDO Demolition Labourer card is the first step in a Demolition qualification. Designed for individuals new to the industry or who are converting from labouring in general construction to the Demolition Industry.
Demolition Labourers assist teams of Demolition Refurbishment Operatives and Topmen in clearing arising from demolition processes. They may be tasked with ensuring the correct segregation of waste before removal from the demolition site.
Demolition Labourers can assist in the soft strip function under the guidance of a qualified Chargehand or Supervisor where required and use non-mechanically powered tools and cordless tools to remove fixings in support of that.
5-year CCDO Labourer card is renewable however most labourers progress onto the CCDO Demolition Refurbishment Operative card before renewal.
Inexperienced or unqualified demolition labourers starting their career and wishing to work on sites that require a carded workforce.
