Engineering Co-ordinator Regional Housing Developer New Office Job Role: Checking consultants drawings and reports, assisting in land Bid reviews, preparing tender packages for commercial and construction issue, dealing with site issues, liaising with Local Authority on Highway design, section agreements, costs, H&S manuals/ risk assessments review etc.Design review rather than designing schemes themselves, up to six schemes at a time.Although the roles is engineering based due regard must be given to the other technical disciplines (Planning, Architecture, Archaeology, Ecology, Landscaping, Sustainability, Acoustic, etc)Engineering Co-ordinator - Key Responsibilities:· Attendance at Land Handover, Technical Handover and Design Team Meetings in conjunction with Technical Manager, Engineering Manager and Design Coordinator.· Manage the Civil Engineering design process, including highways, drainage, external works, levels, cut & fill and setting out.· Manage the Structural Engineering design for all sub structure works including foundations, retaining walls, boundary walls, highway structures and drainage structures.· Manage the provision of utilities, including new supplies, diversions and disconnections.· Responsibility for all statutory notices relating to highways/footways including Road Opening Notices, Road Closures, Diversion Works, Footway/Bridleway Closures/Diversions and Highway Stopping Up Notices.· Provide input to Travel Plans, Management Company Checklists and Sales/Legal Handovers.· Responsibility for remediation works, demolition works and Party Wall works (in conjunction with the Design Coordinator), including all statutory notices.· Manage the provision of Conveyance plans.· Responsibility for Street naming and numbering.· Responsibility for securing all Legal Agreements associated with adoptions and to manage the process from design through to final adoption.· Checking all consultants information for compliance with regulatory guidelines· Compiling all health and safety information for the CDMC in accordance with the company policy and procedures.· Comply with responsibilities as laid down in the Group’s Policy and Procedures.
