This course covers the responsibilities of an asbestos manager, from the basics of asbestos through to planning and executing asbestos removal projects. The course will follow the syllabus provided to us by UKATA, the awarding body.
By the end of the course delegates will have an detailed understanding of the asbestos licence regime, the licence application process, legislation involved with the day to day operation of a licensed asbestos removal company, management of health and safety within their organisation, how to carry out risk assessments and write a plan of work, site documentation and waste handling procedures.
