We are currently working with a Metal recycling company who purchase waste metal from demolition firms, wreckers, and other companies that generate obsolete metal from their manufacturing processes.
Running a fleet of Class Two (Cat C) rigid Roll on/Roll off vehicles, your main duties will include collecting and exchanging full for empty skip containers from companies across the South and South West, returning them daily to their processing plants in Cardiff and Avonmouth.
The work is entirely flexible. We need drivers who can help us throughout the whole week, so we can cater for drivers who want to work anything between one and up to five days on a regular and ongoing basis.
We are looking for drivers who can demonstrate a minimum of 12 months commercial driving experience.
This is a Temp to Perm opportunity for the right candidate(s).
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 06.00am starts daily
An extra shift every one in five Saturdays
Hourly Pay Rates:
Monday to Friday £13.13 (PAYE)
Overtime paid at time and a half after 40hrs
Time and a half Saturday
