Job Description

The position would suit a Mechanical Pipework Engineer that would preferably have knowledge of working within hazardous areas with preferable skills in OFTEC regulations and knowledge of pipework to include steel and plastic installation and inspections. Responsibilities * Work with all service divisions of the company on site works including tank/fuel maintenance, demolition/construction and remediation and other environmental associated projects that require the skills of a mechanical engineer to safely deliver company requirements not limited to the following; * OFTEC tank maintenance, inspection and testing. * Pipework installations, equipment maintenance, decommissioning of redundant fuel systems on nationwide projects in various sectors, including but not limited to the public, fuel distribution, and building power service sectors. * Assisting with emergency response call outs. * Onsite completion of H&S paperwork, site reports, daily updates, and test reports. * Build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels within the business, with clients, subcontractors, colleagues and other third parties (regulators, statutory consultees, etc) * Assistance in developing services to support its expanding service provision to varying industries and management of the development of those service offering. * Creation of your own personal career development of your training to suit and match service provisions within the fuel maintenance, decommissioning, tank maintenance and response industries Qualifications Mechanical Engineering tailored towards all forms pipework and fuel systems. OFTEC qualification. COMPEX - Mechanical. Confined Space trained. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
