Our client is looking for a full time Civil/Structural Engineer, AUTOCAD experience preferred. Successful candidate will work primarily at our client's head office, but will use company car to attend site visits when required. The hours are 37.5/week.
Responsible for the production of calculations, drawings and sketches for various permanent and temporary structural scheme designs varying from large new builds, demolition, extensions and alterations.
Duties: Consulting Engineer, Supervisors and Co-Ordinators
Relevant with the current design codes for steel, concrete, unreinforced masonry and timber i.e. British Standards.
Deal with clients such as borough council, architects, homeowners, property developers both directly and via phone calls, as well as attending site meetings to have up to date information on projects.

Piling Platform / Mat Design
Needle Shoring & Propping Design
Tower Crane Bases/ Foundation & Hoist
Mobile Crane Outrigger Load Check
Temporary Support for Basement design
Falsework & Formwork Design
Others - Hoarding, Mortar Silo Base, Site Cabin Base
Category 2 & 3 Checks
