Autograph Recruitment are working with a family run business who are one of the leading construction and waste management companies in the South West. My client specialise in demolition, construction and asbestos removal; transport and plant hire; skip and commercial waste management. Due to continuous growth, they are looking for a Site Manager to oversee allocated construction projects with the ability to manage and control site activities, facilities and budget. You will have experience in managing sub-contractors ensuring a high quality to the specified requirements. You will have excellent communication skills in order to effectively commune with the client, staff and colleagues.
Responsibilities will include:
Completing all related paperwork
Ensuring exemplary health and safety regulations are kept.
Giving progress reports
Reports to Contracts Manager
Managing subcontractors and permanent members of staff on site
Liaise with and develop strong relationships with clients
Requirements & Qualifications:
Previous experience within the groundworks and civils industry
Experience of working within the commercial sectors
Hold CSCS card, CITB 5 day site managers course (SMSTS) or relevant SMSTS qualification
