Job Description

Position: Estimator Location: London Rate: £400-£550 p/d Inside IR35 depending on experience Start Date: ASAP Are you looking to be a part of one of the biggest railway projects in the UK? Are you an Estimator with a civil or rail background? Are you currently living in London? If so, this opportunity is perfect for you! The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work for a tier 1 contractor on a £400m station redevelopment. The redevelopment is part of a larger projector to help match a brand new station that will later be built. The scope of works are split into two phases, the initial phase having already been completed which comprised of various platform upgrades. The second phase of the works, which is due to start this year, is all the enabling works for the new station which will include heavy demolition and excavation packages to get rid of surrounding buildings. The candidate will get to gain experience working on a major project under a main contractor which will be a great addition to their experience and give them a chance to enhance within their career. The second phase is due to be completed in 4 to 5 years time which means the candidate will have great longevity on this project. This is also a great opportunity for anyone living within the M25 as the location in which the individual will be based is in the heart of central London with great transport links. The candidate must have previous experience in an Estimating role. Ideally the candidate needs to come from a rail or civil background and have previous experience working on a major project in excess of £50m. The role also requires the candidate to have CCS Candy User software experience. The role is also a full time role and therefore the candidate must be able to travel into central London.
