£19 - £21 per hour + benefits

Our privately owned client who is based in the South West is a leading name within the demolition and civil engineering industry. Throughout their extensive history, our client has been responsible for carrying out works on various landmark buildings throughout the UK with a commitment to safety and quality and their services. Their services include demolition, soft stripping, waste management, environmental services and asbestos removal and with plans in place for growth over the next 5-10 years, this business is in an exciting place moving forward.

About the position:
Due to healthy order books and continued company growth, I have been asked to recruit a CCDO Gold Card Site Supervisors to work directly for the above client. Working as a site supervisor you will be joining the companies’ demolition division and will be responsible for the day to day supervision of a site, ensuring work is carried out in accordance and time with the programme whilst also making sure standards are maintained, including health & safety.
About the requirements:
To be considered for this opportunity, you must hold the following:
* First Aid Certificate (4 Day)
* CCDO Gold Card (5 day supervision course)
* Asbestos Awareness
* Demolition Awareness
In addition to the above, it is essential that you hold a strong background in demolition and this experience must have been gained whilst working for a subcontractor in the UK. Additionally, as this is a permanent opportunity, I am looking for professionals who can demonstrate stability of employment throughout their career, holding each previous post for a minimum of 3 years. Furthermore, due to the majority of projects being carried out throughout the M4 corridor, you will need to live within commutable distance from Reading or Swindon.
About the benefits and rewards:
For this permanent opportunity, my client is targeting professionals who are looking to earn anywhere from £19 - £21 per hour however there may be flexibility on this as specific rate will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, the usual benefits associated with a large successful contractor will also be available.
