Search Consultancy are recruiting for a Site Manager with experience in Remediation and Demolition
Due to increased workload for our client, Search consultancy are recruiting for an experienced Remediation Site Manager to work on projects across the northwest of England.
This is a permanent position with a company who are experiencing rapid growth across the North West of England.
Reporting directly to the Projects Director, you will delivering solutions on a diverse range of projects from small fuel spills through to large multi-technology soil and groundwater remediation of brownfield sites.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the technical and day to day on site requirements
Work with Operations team to ensure objectives and scope is delivered, including writing, and updating programmes and resource plans
Manage contract variations and communicate changes to the project team
Identify key risks / issues during projects, communicate resolve with the team
Ensure that health, safety & environmental obligations are met
Ensure legislative compliance on projects - including obtaining permits, licenses and consents as required
Technical review of data / reports and QA / QC checking
Build and maintain relationships with clients / consultants / suppliers to optimise current and future contracts performance
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
You will likely have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in contaminated land remediation, including experience in a contracting role, and in project management.
Working knowledge of a range of soil and groundwater remedial approaches as well as basic knowledge of earthworks practices is desired, although further training will be provided as required.
A valid driving licence is essential.
